However, with the N/A -- what I have -- it's hardly noticeable. I'm sure it does help a bit, but not nearly as much as for the TII. If you want to find out the details and see if Superchips would be better for you, phone Carl Sloan at SAS Racing and he can tell you all about the computer.

Are you talkign about the MD Chip in the N/A or the Superchips chip in the N/A??

Cus from what I ahve reading, Many people claim a noticible diff in their N/A With the MD Chip.

Whiel others agree that its not worth it. Waht mods did you have?

In one of these threads one guy said he had his dynoed Befoer and After the chip, and it gained 13 RWHP.

Which goes right along with what you said before, "no wher enear their claims" of 25 HP.

BUT still 13 extra RWHP is a VERY good deal for $300 in my book.

ohh ONE mroe thng. I forget who it was that called them and they said they no longer make the chip, but we are gettign mixed answers.

I emailed them last week and this is what they wrote back.

Thanks for your email. Our chips have been well tested in Florida and other parts of the US and the Carribbean. We had an altitude problem in Calgary Canada. We tried to resolve the problem with the customer but, it was difficult to satisfy his requirement. The autocross chip cost $295.00 plus $25.00 for postage of the CPU back to you. The chip will work the the standard configuration of the RX-7 1988. Free flow exhaust and air filter will be okay.

Notice how his reply says, 1988. That is only because of my signature which states "88 GTU". Just to let you know before you asked :D

Damn....not a bad price. I wonder how much downtime is involved for the car....I don't happen to have a spare ECU laying around....:p:
