Mazdatrix Stainless Steel Brake Lines

I just got done installing the Mazdatrix stainless steel lines, and the install went very smoothly. The old lines were not to terrible to get off, but the rubber was cracked and brittle. The new lines fit perfectly and look like they are made to last. I'm glad Mazda didn't over do it with the lock tight like on my MX-5. The brake fluid flush was definitely needed, and it seemed to help firm up the pedal a good bit.

If anyone still has the original rubber lines I would definitely recommend these for replacements. After 20+ years they were due for replacement.

Always a good idea to really do the brakes all the way.
I've bled mine before, but 2 or so years ago I really did them. When I got to the front passenger side, I wound up doing the bleeding process 7 or so times! Dirty fluid just kept coming out, took my quite a while.
Even so, eventually I got a new master cylinder and bled them fully again with new stainless lines.

You never realize how "bad" your brakes are until you 100% replace everything.

Yes, I need to replace the master cylinder. The reservoir is full of really dark fluid that won't go away.
