Mazdaspeed front lip spoiler

Anybody install one of these on their S5? It's pretty simple I figure, remove factory black lip and replace with Mazdaspeed lip?

Also are the bolts 6mm? I'm away from my car at the moment.

Ok got around to trying to install it and gave up after 2 hours.

The center holes line up but the outer ones don't .... I can get one side in but then there is a 1.5-2 inch gap on the other.

I started hearing cracking as I tried to force it in but it didn't work so I stopped for today.

Any tips ? I'm lipless now :(

I'm running into some issues with fitment. It seems the bumper and fender go in on the passenger side and goes out on the driver's side. Any help guys ?

you can grab the bottom of that fender and pull it put, just go easy

usually easier to drill holes to match your car instead of trying to pull and stretch the fiberglass

Is this a stock or aftermarket front lip? If aftermarket where can I get one? I would be easy on fiberglass. is it possible to maybe space it so there is a even gap on both sides? Might be easier to get the sides to pull out to it if there is less of a gap? Love the lip though!

It's a mazdaspeed front lip. Corksport used to make a replica but that was ages ago. The problem is the center indentations on the bumper (it's an S5 car) line up perfectly on the lip to bumper so if I try to move it one way or another it will look off. It seems where the fender and bumper meet is pushed in a little so it leaves a gap between the lip spoiler.

Where did you get the lip?

Sorry to bump my own thread thats a billion years old BUT....

I ended up putting it on with the gap for now (which worked fine) because it is going to a paint shop soon as upon closer inspection the previous owner must have hit a racoon or something as the area is pushed up and needs some bodywork as it cannot be pulled by hand. It tweaked that corner a little.

Been some years, body certainly needs some tweaking to put it mildly, but at least you still have the car.
Maybe post a picture when finished.

when i made my lips i had the indent for the mounting holes. it worked on maybe 40% of the cars. thats why I suggest people just make their own holes

and as i said years ago- the area where the fender and bumper meets is easily manipulated by pulling or pushing. its pretty flimsy
the last fastener by the wheel liner I suggest you nut and bolt.
