mazda's elec. seatbelt warrenty..?

hey, does this warrenty go for EVERYTHING thats related to the seatbelts? my center console keeps beeping the stupid seatbelt light and its soo damn annoying and ghetto as shit. + my seatbelts seem to lag sometimes, and sometimes when im driving the drivers (cant say nething bout passenger since NOONE else is allowed to touch my car w/out losing blood) side belt locks up like if i were in a crash. It kinda helps w/ fast turning and such, but if mazda warrenties everything thats related to the seatbelt, do you think they'd fix this electrical error for free?

My passenger side belt got stuffed up some how by its own.
and now the belt is in the middle of the rail and the pulley and puller moves the belt only 4 inch from the back support column and then gets stuck.

No. It only goes for the motor that makes the squirrel (little thing that moves which has the belt on it in the a-pillar) move. They replace the motor, and a few other parts. If your belt stops and gets stuck, then it is under the recall. It is supposed to lock up on hard turns. My old truck, and every car I have ever ridden in for that matter, has done that. As for the beeping, I really dobut mazda will fix that for free. Oh yeah, the recall is onlt for 91, if I remember right.

I was under the impression that it was for ALL 2nd Gen mazdas. I have an 89 with the same problem, and everyone just says take it to Reliable Imports ( Our local Mazda Dealer ) As for the beeping, I'm at a loss. I unplugged the harness under the center console that SEEMS to attach to the belt retractors, and the seatbelt beeping quit all together. You might think to try that if it gets annoying enough.

I know weveral people who have had their motorized seat belts fixed for free. I don't know if it's a recall, or a lifetime warranty on the restraints.

Last year, my passenger side sholder belt cable came out of the track. I pulled the whole thing, cleaned, repaired, lubed, reinstalled. Now I find out Mazda would have replaced it? AAAaaach.

The actual recall from Mazda is only for 91 cars, and only for the actual seatbelt motor, according to Mazda USA, whom I contacted personally. I am not sure if the cable is covered. Hell, I just disabled mine, cuz I don't trust the damn things!!

Yeah, I prefer the old 3-point style. I 'm checking the J-yards for a complete retrofit. In the meantime, the "attack" belt system is working.

I like the auto restraint system.

Mazda only replaces the parts that are safety related.

The beeping is annoying, but has no effect on the seatbelt operation.

so no recall coverage there..
sorry....
