manifold question

I was wondering if an S4 turbo intake manifold would fit on a S5 non turbo? I have a street port and want to open it up a little more and have access to said manifold. Also, completly unrelated, I was taking off my stock exhaust and on the driver side exhaust, bolted to it was something that I can only describe as a "shoe string" any one have any idea, thanks!

no idea what the shoe string thing would be. but what part of the manifold would be talking about. the upper or lower? but i dont know much about NA-turbo stuff.

The S5 N/A manifold is known for being quite good, I doubt you would gain anything by putting on an S4 turbo one. As far as whether it would fit or not, I think the bolts will line up (not 100% sure) but the ports won't. That's assuming your looking at replacing the UIM and LIM. The turbo is made for 4 port while the N/A is 6 port. You'll also run into a TB issue and probably other things I can't think of right now. Your time and/or money would be better spent elsewhere.

Take a pic of what is hanging off your exhaust and someone might be able to tell you what it is, but as a guess it's the previous owner's way of hanging the exhaust when one of the stock mounts becomes MIA.
