making milkshakes with my overflow bottle ?_?
So I got out of my 87 NA and went to eat. My coworkers told me that my car was leaking, so I went outside and checked it out. I saw what looked like coolant and oil in the overflow bottle (very little left because overheat). Do that mean it's time for a rebuild? Is oil leaking into the coolant housing? I just want to know what you guys think?
Could I get away for the time being by replacing the radiator? (so I can save up for a rebuild) Edit: I don't notice rising temps because the temp guage is broken. I will be getting one today. |
I believe you have (among other problems) a blown coolant seal
its rebuild time...........changing the rad won't help THIS problem...its not going to hurt anything putting in a new one - but it won't fix this problem |
acutally it would be useless to put a new radiator in because the oil and coolent would just clogg up the new radiator so bad that when you do get a rebuild it will need to be either cleaned or replaced
