Lowering springs

I would like to lower my 86, but don't want to sacrifice the stock ride quality. What springs/shocks combo would you 2nd gen drivers out there recomend.

Thanks in advance

I use Racing Beat Springs (1" drop all around) and Tokico HP struts. It's a stiff ride and you can feel the road. I like it. Good luck with your choice.

The best "price combo" would be:

- Suspension Techniques springs @ www.shox.com ($175 set)
- KYB AGX (adj) struts @ www.K2RD.com ($355 set)

RB springs would be a better choice, but they are kind of expensive ($240 set)!

i dropped mine with suspension techniques sport spring kit, cost around 350 canadian (i think) and another 200 to install. i left the stock struts(auto adjuster), it dropped about 1.5 inches, by the end of the summer it sits lower, but when i first bring the car out in the spring there is a pretty good gap in the back with205/40/16's. i like the stiff ride, i found the biggest annoyance is the low profile tires, they have no forgiveness to the road, you feel everything, but they are better than having ugly 60 series tires
