Lower intake removal

Hey guys. I have been doing some fuel rail, wiring and injector swapping when I made a fatal mistake. I was splicing wire and dropped about 1/4 inch piece down the front most port on my lower intake manifold. IE: 1/4 inch of wire is sitting on my rotor or in the chamber.

So I tried to get it out by attaching a very very strong magnet to a piece of string and lowering down the lower intake assembly. Well, the magnet hooked on something down there and now is stuck as well. Sooo, I started to take off the lower intake assembly.

The problem now is that I can only see/feel three of the bolts holding the lower intake onto the motor. Does anyone have a schematic of how it bolts to the engine? I looked in the FSM and I couldn't find an illistration of the bolt patter. I also tried searching for it but also couldn't find it in the 2 gen specific forums.

Thanks a bunch everyone.

on the turbo lim there are 7 bolts, and i believe 6 on the na lim

just look at that pic and imagine its your manifold, the only difference is that the turbo one has an extra one right in the middle above the ports.

If it's a turbo, the turbo/exhaust manifold have to come off to get the LIM off.

Thank you both, I suspected as much about the exhaust mani too.

Thanks a lot struhall for the pic! I thought that was the pattern but you can never be too safe!
