low speed rear end creak/clunk
 

What would cause creaking at the rear end at slow speeds like in a parking lot or driveway? If the car is stopped, I can push down on the rear and it makes this creaking/clunk noise.

I've had this problem for a while but I just put on new shocks, springs, and dtss eliminators (feels great btw:icon_tup:), and the noise is more noticeable now.

Now that I think about it, it might happen at higher speeds, too but my exhaust is so loud I may not notice it. :)

Diff mount?

control arm bushing?

I don't think it's the diff mount. That clunks when shifting, correct?

It could be that bushing I guess. I installed the energy bushing kit in front but I didn't want to drop the whole rear end, so I didn't do the trailing arm bushing.

Could it be the trailing links or camber links? I hope it's not the shocks. They're brand new.

I can't really tell where the noise is coming from. I'll look at it tomorrow if I have time.

stock camber links will make that sound when worn.

That was my first thought, but I thought those only clunk when going over bumps? My driveway is totally flat.

I have all new mounts, shocks, shock mounts, and the DTSS.

someone said that the dtss might require some light tapping of the body in because it will make contact.

I was also getting a really annoying squeek from the top of the shock mounts
