Low/Rough Idle while cold (1988 N/A)

My (1988 N/A) rx-7 has had rough idling problems since I bought the car. It'll stall if I don't give keep my foot and the gas after starting the car, once it warms up it drives fine. Recently though I've replaced the belts and after doing so it idles around 500rpm on start and is still idling rough, all the issues goes away after it warms up. It runs rich and the idle screw on top of the intake is really high, could those be causing the issue? Any help is appreciated.

I also notice that this doesn't lead any where, any ideas of what it is?

Change the water temp sensor on the back side of the water pump block. . .. . .I remove the alternator when I change it.

It's a cheap sensor. . .Like 20 bucks from amazon.

I marked up a dwg . .. . The exhaust port is supposed to power the 5th and 6th port as shown in the drawing. . .. .I noticed the picture you provided also shows a larger plugged line. . . I believe both these go back to the port off the cat. There is a check valve in between.

These may not solve your idle issue but doing this won't make it worse.
