Loud noise from clutch?
It seems like when I let my clutch out it makes a loud metal on metal sound. It doesnt do it all the time but does it quite alot. It only has about 1500 miles on the clutch, flywheel and tranny. I can also make it do it if the rpm's are between 2000-2500 and I make it hop a little. I've looked and it doesnt seem like any heat shields are lose or anything. Any thoughts? Thanks

could also be the synchros on the transmision, because when you release the clutch petal the transmision begins to spin.If it was the throwout bearing it would only do it when you press in the petal and hold it in,that engages the throwout bearing against the preasure plate and makes it spin, most likely its the transmision.
