Looking for Turbo! T04E suggestions

Well, hopefully soon I will get the money and the car in my avatar running. Plans are for a Pineapple rebuild and a street port. Anyways I am trying to plan out some stuff. I need some help/suggestions on a T04E. Trims and compressor wheels and a/r's. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks

Note: Please don't rant on about needing haltech and fuel. Common sense will take care of that. Thanks

Steven

I have spent much time on the turbonetics site. I see the T4-series and the T60 series. Would I be looking at the T4 or T60? I also see big shaft? What's the difference between big and "normal"? Sorry for the lack of knowledge on this paticular things; but theres so many CHOICES!

When it comes time to buy would it be best to just call them and discuss all this?

The "T04E" family goes from like "46" all the way up to "60".
The T04E 60 has about the same characteristics as a "60-1".
The 60-1 is also a good choice.

T4 frame: specifics.....

*T04e 60 trim compressor wheel
*t04 compressor housing in a .60 a/r
*wet center housing (uses water and oil)
*360 thrust
*dynamic seal
*P-trim turbine wheel
*.96 tang. undivided or .84 tang. divided or 1.0 tang. divided turbine housing.

Been backwards and forwards hundreds of times crunching #'s and this and what everyone seems to be happy with is the ultimate street/strip set up. Exactly what I'm getting although I still havent decided on turbine a/r,,,, leaning towards 1.0 now. (spool from 3000-3700 depending on boost level and turbine a/r with 400 +/- 30 whp )

Those turbo guys from turbo specialist DO know their turbos,,,,,, but it seems all the turbo "experts" I have talked to are used to piston motors and tend to direct you in a WRONG turbo purchase direction. I'd go with the above turbo and am pretty sure most will agree, stick to rx-7 people with experience for your turbo questions.

Thanks Mike! I was becoming lost in my searches for the "perfect turbo".
