Well kind of sounds like the guy who told me it was bad ended up overheating it or something on the trip. Because it sure dosnt sound like its bad at all. I could see why it would be much easier on a rotary then a piston engine too. Just the way the thing functions is much smoother and easier.

You wouldn't have any problems at all driving 600 miles. When I bought my FC I flew to Dallas and met the guy at the airport where I got the keys and drove it on home. Only about 400 miles for me though but I didn't get under 80mph once I hit the hwy.

I just read my email, I got an email from the guy I am buying the car from. He told me this...

I took my car home yesterday after work and went to back into my parking
spot and she wouldn't go into reverse!

He is going to have it checked out.
Anyone know what could be wrong?

Well I got another email from him and he got an email telling him this.

What has happened is the 5th/reverse shift fork has popped out of alignment.
The tailshaft to the trans needs to be removed, this exposes the ends of the
shift forks, now it can be realligned. I just did this last week on another
TII that stopped going into reverse

Sound about right to you all??

Any idea if this sounds right? How much would something like that cost if it was just something little and not the tranny. There is no problems with any other gears either.
