LOL! WTF Wipers switch fixed ?!?!?!

Howdy,

As you may have known I have been hard wiring in all the electrical controls for the functions on my dash that no longer worked. Got the car as a rolling shell with no dash and all the wiring harnesses gutted out. My biggest problem was not being able to figure out the wiper switch and why it would not make the wipers work on more than one slow speed.

So, bought a couple known good switches, replaced the motor, got a rebuilt switch from Mazdamark, still, just one slow speed no matter what.

So, I just hard wired in a two position switch to run them fast and slow, wired it all in and got it working with fast and slow directly using the ground-outs from the wiper harness........

and for some reason, once I got that maual switch in, the OEM switch assembly strted working on all functions. WTF!!! Must not have been grounded right or someting and I fixed it by grounding the harness out somehow.

Oh well, here's the final gauges and controls all set up. Got all the instrument cluster stuff wired to work correctly except for the water temp and oil pressure, no need for that with the autometer gauges. Got the tach to read correctly for the V8 ignition by having the tech calibrated for the V8 rpm, got a tranny output cable ratio convertor to make sure the speed showed correctly. Headlights, turn signals, emergency blinkers, front washer squirter, rear defrost, all wired in to the stock controls. Center console by the ebrake has the defrost, rear wiper and rear squirter.

top row: A/F, tranny temp, time.

MIddle: manual radiator fan switch, two position wiper switch, interior lights.

Bottom> Gauge lights, fan on indicator, oil pressure, water temp.
