Locked up tires....
 

Hey guys, i think it's more or less me being paranoid but i thought i would ask what you guys thought....

comming home i was cut off and had to hit the brakes decently hard at about 100km/h, i slid for about 30feet and after inspecting my tires pretty well, i noticed that the spot where the tire contacted the pavement resulted in rubber being burned off by about the thickness of a penny, mabe a little more, havent really driven the car after that because i'm putting an intake on it but do you think i would notice anything concerning the tires?, like any small vibration or lumping?...

the piss off is i just put the tires on a week ago and they cost $500 for the fronts, but what do you guys think?...

wouldn't worry about it, if there is a vibration you can put the flat ones in the rear and wet the pavement and do a few burnouts, this will true the tires. i'm sure you are reluctant to doing it but them's the brakes (no pun untended) or you can live with it.

i'm sure there's nothing too much to worry about, i havent noticed anything so i should be ok....
