Little black orifica
 

the parts manual identifies a little black orifice PN 89311396 that one is needed on a S5 turbo in two locations but it doesn't identify which hose the get inserted in. What happens if it's not installed? Does anyone no where it goes?

One goes in the vacuum hose to the Boost Sensor. W/o it the engine could be a little herky jerky.

would that be another term for Restrictor pill?

Perhaps that is the slang name for it, but the parts manual calls it an orifice:) not the one you're thinking about. I got the one goes in the boost sensor vacuum line but there's another one somewhere. It shows up in two locations in the pub. When i rebuilt my NA I didn't put them in when I replaced all the vaccum lines and maybe that's why i have an unsteady idle (searchin) until the engine warms up.
