So I got bored last night and started looking around and noticed we had a master list for bolt size’s but I couldn't find one for the Torque specs. Yea I know just look in the FSM but some times its easier just to look on here and do a quick search for some things. So with that in mind I started looking thought the S5 FSM and writing down Torque specs for most of the things that the normal FC owner would hit up sometime in the cars life with them so here is what I came up with. Enjoy and if any one has anything else to add/fix then go ahead and do it.

^+1 I do like when people feel the urge to compile lots of needed info in one spot.

Alternator short bolt snapped at 15 ft-lbs of torque...might want to re-check that.

Where's the master list of bolt sizes?? I've only ever been able to find a partial list.

I agree to sticky or archive or something this list.

And I can't imagine any bolt breaking at 15 ft.-lbs. I'll bet the bolt was already weakened by over tightening.

disregard my previous statement, I checked the FSM and those are infact correct specifications. suppose the bolt had been over-torqued before and was just weakened.

I just synched the bolts down on my water pump according to this information...are we sure the spec is 13~20lbs? That seems very, very light. I've always done 30lbs, and the bolts were tighter than that coming off.

Its correct. They should have lock washers on them.

It is a nice little list. Typically I use FSM, but I do keep a binder of all the FSM chapters I need and will print this up and keep it for reference.

I was having a hard time finding the torque specs for a 86 non turbo M/T mounting bolts to the rear housing.

I needed those and a few others.

Flywheel Bolts the same as Drive Plate Bolts numbers anyone know ? I got a Fidanza I assume it's the same torque as the OEM Flywheel / Drive Plate..

you mean for the auto counterweight for lightweight flywheels?

I edited my comment and you quoted me before I edited it lol Well I want the numbers to the 6 Flywheel TO Counter weight Bolts which I over looked where it says Drive Plate, I guess they are the same thing or those numbers were not found and stated in this thread. I have a AT engine by the way so it comes with the right counter weight needed for aftermarket Flywheels.. Pressure Plate Bolts a max of 20 lb's eh, I hope I don't break em I got a big Torque Wrench which aren't really accurate for under 25 lb's Force.. I am about to bolt up the Fidanza Light Weight Aluminum Flywheel I had in my Renesis engine before in my STARX8, now the STARXQUEST with FD Engine I am about to finish up real soon..

60-69ft/lbs for the flex plate to rear counterweight for light flywheel vehicles and auto cars.

So where it says

At the top of the page that is incorrect numbers for the Drive Plate / Flywheel to AT counter weight ?
