line to wg??

I am trying to intall a manual boost controller. I have done a few searches and I cant find a good pic or explaination of where you hook up the line that goes to the wg. Ovciously the one that goes to the turbo is pretty easy but I didnt know if I should tap a t into the vacuum line on the wg itself or somewhere else. You can see a good pic of what Im trying to do on that 1300 cc site in this link. Its the 2nd to last pic and you can see the yellow vacuum lines. One comes off the turbo inlet and connects to the bottom of the controll. The other comes out horizonal and goes where you can see over the tid pipe. Where does it end?? Thank you

that one goes to the wastegate actuator. The little brass cylinder you can see right under the TID. It has a little arm that comes out of it and opens/closes the wastegate flapper door on the back of the turbine housing.

Ok I know what the wastegate actuator is. So do I t into that line or should I just completely replace it and cap off the line that used to go to it or leave that line just open??

If you cap it off or leave it open, your wastegate will not function, and your turbo will boost forever (bad).
The line that goes to the wastegate diaphram should connect to the compressor outlet. Tap into this line and install your boost controller.

Ok thats what I needed to know. So then I can just tap into it with a t connector and hook that to the out side of the boost controller. Thanks everyone.

Some boost controllers tee into the actuator hose, some are installed inline. You haven't told us anything about the controller you're using, so nobody can give you a definite answer.

Oh well it is a hallmans manual boost controller with the ball and spring type not the bleeder type. It came with this instruction "drawing" showing the two lines coming out of the boost controller with the word turbo on one and wastegate ont he other but it doesnt actually show how they set it up whether it was to the actuator and it teed off or if it replaced the line or went to the other end of the vacuum line. im pretty sure thats its Im going to try it tonight.

That type of controller is installed inline. One end connects to the nipple on the turbo compressor housing (red arrow) and the other end to the wastegate actuator (bottom of pic).
