leaking coolant from tranny!?

I assume it's pretty bad. I would think the only 2 hoses that could cause this is the heater core's, and they seam in fair condition. So what's a likely cause for this?

The car doesn't have the coolant smell out of the exhaust, but there is a visible drip from about 6-8" back from the front of the tranny. I'm determined to take care of this!

Probably the coolant hose underneath the intake manifold. The annoying 90degree bend hose for the BAC

Either that or bad tension bolt seals.

Possible freeze plug rotted on rear iron?

thats what i was thinking. where could we get some freeze plugs?

Freeze plugs? I have a spare engine sitting around with blown coolant seals. Maybe I could pull the freeze plugs off it. I'm not sure of there location though.

The hose near the BAC is unlikely. There is no sign of leaking coming from top of the engine. The leak is dripping down at the tranny about 8 inches back from the engine.

I'm thinking it could be the freeze plugs. Or possibly these tension bolt seals, as I couldn't find a leaky hose.

i've been told that once the freeze plugs are removed, they cant be re-used... is this true?

um yea block plugs are what they are called, and yea 1 time use only. there about 3$ at the parts store, dont be a cheap ass. pressureize the cooling system first, check for leaks then.
