kill switch #2

so it woudl b smart to have a kill switch for the fuel so it dosent flood but i will go throw the batterys huh :wallbash: ?

are you talking about the fuel pump that you are cutting off??...i dont see why you would go through batteries

mikaz 10-26-06 09:55 AM

If you are flooding out all the time. And theres no reason it would make you "go through batteries"

76racer 10-26-06 10:59 AM

well liek teh switch kills teh battery and it just drians it

Sideways7 10-26-06 11:53 AM

Seriously, why would a kill switch drain the battery? Countless people have used a fuel kill switch (me included) and I have never heard of anyone having it drain the battery.

HAILERS 10-26-06 12:31 PM

No. Don't throw the battery. It's going to break open and really, really make a mess. Wear safety glasses if you decide to chunk that sucker.

76racer 10-26-06 12:46 PM

well then coudl it b teh way teh wireing is wierd in?

rx7 FC TII 10-26-06 01:00 PM

the only wat that it could drain your battery is if you left it on overnight..... :pat:

KompressorLOgic 10-26-06 01:01 PM

a kill switch just interupts power to something, like the fuel pump... this doesnt waste power in anyway.....

interupsts power = not a complete circuit there for no drain...

if your batterys going dead then you have a drain from some other circuit or u did something strange.

i have to agre a kill switch works like a light switch that you would use to turn your light on and off... when you have it off you creat a open in the circute and when its on you have .a full flowing circute...why you would even want to connect it to thr battery is behond me.. how i would do it is a kill switch to the EGI fuse ...
