Keep blowing fuses! GGGRRRRRR!!!!!!

I disconnected my dome light fixture to tighen it and i put it back on. I did a stupid thing though. I didnt disconnect the - battery cable. I put the screws nearest the windshield back in and blew my 7.5 room amp. Now i cant use my inside lights, stereo nor my idiot clock. I have tried replacing the fuse with disconecting the battery but it keeps popping the same fuse. So now i am forced to go without dome lights, sunroof and rear-view mirror. Please help me you electrical people.

you somehow tightened the screws and crimped a wire at the same time. That's why you keep blowing fuses. You'll have to get back into the light and see if you spliced into a wire. Also, it is possible that you may have reconnected the wires incorrectly, maybe connecting the hot side of the light directly to the frame, or something like that. In either case, you've got a short in the dome light assembly and I would start there. It should be an easy fix.

Your right. I pinched a wire. I just fixed it and it works great now. Thanks!

my FC does the same thing kinda. The red-neck rotary ricer who owned my car prior to me saving her from the depths of fart cans and Weapon R intakes has this ghetto rigged single DIM deck, but the foo did something and after installing a trim kit to keep the stereo in once place I kept blowing my Cluster fuse that also happens to run the taillights, ( the brake lights still work but the lights are black if your not applying the brake.) took me 2 days and about 30 fuses to figure out what the damn problem was. I still don't know for sure, I just taped the ends off all the wires the monkey didn't find a place to connect them to or tape them off himself. >.<
