K&N Cone Filter Adapter

anyone know where to get the adapter locally do they sell them at autoparts stores or are they special order from certian peoples?

Most are probably custom made...check ebay for one, they usually go pretty cheap. I think HKS makes one as well, but they are not parts you will find at local autoparts stores. Online stores specializing in RX7 stuff may carry them as well.

edit: here found you a link for an HKS one:

and there are a bunch on ebay right now too..just checked.

As mentioned, get It off ebay for alot cheaper. I paid less than half for mine than buying locally for a HKS Unit.

the ebay ones are junk they dont flow near what the HKS one does

the junky ebay ones do not have a gradual chnage from circuler to square like the HKS one this causes a great deal of turbulance

I got mine here from Nemesis9 for like 12 bucks or something with shipping. Not bad

yeah K&N are alot better than a paper filter or any of the generic brand cone filters out there that may or may not fall apart. They last forever too since you can just clean them when they get dirty.

This is true, most of them are just a short length of pipe welded straight onto a plate. The cast ones are much better, or you can make your own if you have access to the right tools. ;)
