K&N Air filter adapter...?

Does anyone have the piece that would bolt to the air intake box to attach a K&N cone filter. (It would have four 10mm bolts to connect to the box and a neck to put the filter on.) Or does anyone know where I can get one NEW...? Thanks...

Cant you take out the air box and connect the cone filter directly to the AFM sensor?

Not on a series 4. They had a square AFM that needs a bracket attached to it. They were selling just the brackets themselves on ebay, but mostly it's just filters with outrageous shipping now adays :)

That's what I was meaning... When I said "airintakebox" I was meaning the AFM. Not the orginal/stock holder for the filter. That's what I want to replace entirely. Excuse my misuse of terms.

Yea shipping was $.50 cheaper then the part. but that's ok... still got it for almost $20. All I needed was the attachment anyways.

Well, there's not much you can do with the stock AFM, you remove it entirely and the car runs for crap, so you either can replace it with the plunger style series 5, or you can buy a haltech (there goes the wallet!), or you can just bolt up the funky plate and leave it how it is? :)

For now I want to leave the stock AFM... I have a s4 complete TII setup in my 1st gen. I did not use the stock Air Cleaner Box, and I'm going to use the attachment to put the K&N cone directly to the AFM. I'm still on "Working The Bugs Out" stage. My First step is trying to get the car running right before I go any w/big upgrades.
