Just Ordered New Engine!!

:o:

Just ordered my engine for my 87 Turbo II. Here's what I got

13bt engine
Cryogenic treated internal seal, rotorseals, and all springs on rotor, including both rotor housings
smog legal streetport
rotor housing painted midnight blue.

I also have a question. Will 720cc secondaries work with the FCon and gcc? How do you tune them?

What's up Krazidawg,

I'm in Mtn. View and I need to get a motor for my '87 TII. It just died on me. Where did you order your engine from? Was the price resonable for what you got? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need an engine!!

Do a search on engine reviews before you buy anything.

Did you get it from Dave at FC3S.org? I think he is the only person i've seen recently thats offering the Cryogenic treatment. I could be wrong, let us know how it turns out. I think I want to get a new motor just in case i blow up mine. I'm not used to having a turbo yet :D ;)

Pineapple also offers Cryogenically Treated parts, In fact on the 5 Year warrentied rebuild, cryo treated Oil seals are standard

I got the engine from FC3S.ORG Mike. The total cost is $3835.00, and I know what you guys are thinking(Damn thats alot) but when you consider the core charge and me getting the rotor housing painted it kind of adds up. The good thing about them is they (Dave) lets you put down half then you pay the remaining when they have completed building the engine. They say the cryo-treated 2mm are just as strong as 3mm but with better sealing characteristics. I getting engine done at Rotorsport2. The shop is on 2555 El Camino Real in Santa Clara.
