Just did my Intake manifold gasket-now it looks like waters in my oil.WTF?

I just got it all together, (the f*ckin metering lines were making me think about suicide), I replaced the base gasket with the trusty metal one and then the gasket right above it with the regular cork one. Could this gasket be the problem? I know the base gasket couldnt be doing it, because it was blown to begin with and the only problem was that my car wouldnt idle at all. This water in oil thing never happened before, anything else I couldve done when puttin it all back together? I know I didnt put any hoses in the wrong place either. Any response is greatly appreciated.

Did you replace the o-rings in the lower gasket? Im pretty sure thats your problem. I think I wouldve used the cork one for the lower though...

I didnt know that there were such a thing, where are they and why would they cause water to leak in my oil, It never did this before I replaced it-and like I said, my old one was shot. I was told to go with the metal one because it was more durable.

There are coolant passage O rings in the rotor housings. They get replaced as part of the lower intake R&R.

Yeah..I've got my lower intake manifold off right now.. There are *NO* coolant passages into the intake for n/a's--at least, 86-88.

Hell...there aren't any oil passages, either!

You can see the place that's like....capped off on the manifold..that's where the coolant WOULD go, if it were a t2...

Thanks

Thanks Tesla, I was startin to get scared, but I was thinkin if there were coolant passages why the hell didnt any coolant poor out of my motor when I took off the manifold. I think waters gettin in my oil, but Im not sure I havent checked it for a while and I have been when its hot, and my motors rebuilt so my oil looks so new it could be throwin me off, my oil pressure is the same, and my coolant level isnt going down. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS ANY OTHER THOUGHTS ID LIKE TO HEAR THEM, BECAUSE I DONT KNOW ANY OTHER REASON WATER WOULD GET IN THERE AS A RESULT OF ME CHANGING MY GASKET.
