jumping idle starting?
 

i have a good question guys! for the last year my 86na been doing this! .
Only when i start it in the mourning: it start as normal idle goes to around 2000 rpms ,then goes down to 1500 ,then a few seconds later it's when start to idle funny! ,it goes like rooon-rooon-roon for a lil while and then i get to my normal solid idle! .i check the BAC -clean it ,adjust the tps to 1k "specs" and still doing it! WTF!!!!!!!!!!! ,could be the water temp sensor ? ya know the one by the filler neck! close to alternator!
please guys i need a lil help ,it feels like my baby is sick!

After the initial 15 second 3K warmup, the ECU limits closed throttle RPM to 2K.
If anything like a vac leak or a slightly high fast idle cam setting pushes it above 2K, the ECU gives a short fuel cut.
So – check for vac leaks & maybe tweak the fast idle cam adjustment back a little.
