jdm mirrors
 

hi guys i jus bought a whole jdm fc3s front end and the guy also tossed in a pair of jdm mirrors too. My question is do all jdm fc mirrors come power folding. it seems to have a folding bracket as if it folds.. help .. thanks :scratch:

parts catalog shows power, manual, and efini mirrors, so i'm going to say they are all manual folding, except the efini, which i think has mirrors like a US car (dumbo ears)

I wouldn't use those JDM mirrors if i were you, they are angled differently for JDM and US-Spec cars. I had a RHD Nissan 180SX, and Long story short I had to replace the mirrors, I couldn't source another set of JDM ones right away so I figured a USDM set would do just fine.

Turns out they are angled differently. The USDM mirrors were almost completely useless in a RHD car. I anticipate it would flow the same way in a USDM car with JDM mirrors. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on this one, FC's might be different, but that was my experience on the Nissan.

Use them. You'll be fine. Don't think they "power fold" but they're power mirrors that you fold by hand.
