I was going to ask the same question, that's not really clear except for jacking up the front cross member. Do you really jack up the rear differential? Do you put jack stands on the side rails? Or is there a better spot? I've been lucky so far and been able to use ramps

I like using the tow hooks as jack points. For the rear, I use where the front subframe mounts bolt up as a jack point and a jack stand support. I've used the side rails for stand supports, with a 2x4 between the stand and the rail, but that was only when I was removing the rear subframe. In the front I put the jack stands where a crossways support beam meets the lengthwise support beam, I'm not sure what you call that. I think I'll start using the differential now as a jack point, I've heard of people doing that but I've always done one side then the other.
