its raining need help

So my window regulators went out and its about to rain. I have the windows rolled down all the way too which sucks. I have the door panel off trying to figure out how to manually roll them up.

I can't really search either since I'm on my phone. How do I roll these bitches up?

both windows? both dont go out at the same time. most likely its the master switch, check your fuses? only way is to stop at a body shop for some clear "crash wrap" to cover your windows till you can fix them. there is no manual way to put them up

Just the passenger side. If there's no way that's all I really needed to know. Looks like I'm gonna have to roll with a trash bag and duct tape on the way home lol

Thanks

For the driver window place voltage to the Red/Black wire and a ground on the Green/Black wire at the main window switch and the window will go up. For the passenger window place voltage on the Red/White wire and a ground to the Green/White wire, again at the main switch.

EDIT: If the passenger panel is removed you could also apply voltage to the Red wire that runs from the passenger switch to the motor and then a ground to the Green wire and it should go up. There are only two wires to the motor so a voltage signal to one wire and a ground will cause the window to either go up or go down. Reverse the wires and it moves in the opposite direction. This last tidbit was added in case your wire colors don't match up w/the 88 FSM.

ill check it once it stops raining. it might be just the switch though. just didnt have the time to go any further cause of the rain and limited tools.

The direct voltage will work unless the motor is completely dead, if it doesn't you've got other issues haha. On another note, that sucks :(

If voltage to the motor doesn't work, there are a couple screws on the motor's outside that can be removed and then you can freely move it.

Undo the 2 screws that hold the window to the motored frame work, and put a shim-like stick in between the window and door rubber, inside.
it will hold it up until you can get to where you are going.
