hey guys, new to the rx7club, hopefully i'll be getting my hands on a 1990 GXL and i was wondering about different tuning approaches, i've done a lil research on single turbo and turbo II conversion. i was just wondering wat your opinons would be, either to go single turbo, TII, or just stay with n/a motor. to help you guys out a little more, i wanna be able to get up to speed quick but then again, i want to be able to do some drifting. greatly appreciate ur thoughts, thanks.

First off, the TII is a single turbo. And unless you are going to try and drop a s6 (or third gen.) motor in there, you won't get a twin turbo on it. But yes, it is pretty easy, and there are multiple threads about converting N/A to TII for your GXL. If you want the most power you can get, definitely go a turbo setup. TURBO TURBO TURBO!!!

My vote is turbo. it is a little more but well worth it. but unless that gxl you are planning on getting is an extremely good deal, it might be better to just look for a TII because it would be less of a headache and possibly cheaper than swapping everything over.
