Intermitting Problem

the 87 gxl I have has gone under alot of work in the past few months but nothing that I replaced sloved this problem. Here's the problem, it doesn't matter the situation even at idle the enginge goes thorugh some changes from running smooth to no power, fluctuating idle, engine shakes really bad-worse when I give it gas. My oil pressure goes up from 30 to 60psi at idle??

Now on the things Ive done so far
full tune up
leading coil replaced
pre cats replaced by straight pipe
catco high flow cat to replace main cat
s6 alt (Thnx Sliverotor)
ecu grounds cleaned up
tps checked but will only show 1k-ohm with throttle at rest/closed but move it and the m/m reads nothing but if I let it go back it will read 1k-ohm.
Whats going on????

Are you sure your cat isnt clogged? If it wasnt designed for a rotary it might have already been burned out.

but if that was the case it would do this all the time right?

Now it smokes while it does this and the cat was replaced like 3 wks ago

Hard to tell from your description, is it possible to detail when and what it is doing instead of just

from running smooth to no power, fluctuating idle, engine shakes really bad-worse when I give it gas.
but it sounds like a bad BAC valve to me if this is happening only at idle... but then then you are not supposed to have power at idle... so your description of the problem is not clear enough.

srry I was saying that it happens at anytime idel or when Im driving it just happens out of no where.
It goes from normal to when I give the car gas it doesnt sound right knida like a pported motor but my car has stock ports. I think it electrical, what else controls the spark and fuel that I can check??

The TPS is worn out!
When you have a drop out in the middle of the plunger stroke, the ECU will get confused & give random fuel cuts.

I have had some luck with spray contact cleaner.
Spray it in between the sleeve & the plunger, work it, blow it out.
