interior electrical problem
 

I was installing my electric fan and when I was done I notieced that none of my interior lights would work, when I turned the headlights on the dash illumintaion would not come on and my stereo will not work?

how can I fix this?

I assume you checked all the fuses, including hte ones under the hood, right?

If so, did you catually PULL them or shine light through them from behind?

You must have missed one.

Did you splice/cut any wires to do the install?

yeah I checked all the fuses
pulled each one out and looked at them to make sure the lil metal part wasn't broken

what fuse controls all that anyways, isn't just one

well the METER fuse is the dash, but there are more fuses than that controll all of that stuff.

You MUST have busted a wire.

So you DID check the ones under the hood right?

You can't just look to see if they are blown. Only about 2/3rds of the time, if they are blown hard will they show up.

You should check them with a meter (thats why they have contacts on the top of them, so you can check them while they are still plugged in).

wow Iam stupid... I put the 60 amp fuse in my ABS slot rather than the other slot it belongs in under the hood. sorry guys :(

Thrasher/Zach, You told me i would have my refund and my lights sent to me on the 27th of august...it has already been 2 months before that...now it is september 18 and you have not returned my emails or my PM's. i feel i have been more than patient with you and this has already become a very bad experience...i hope noone does this kind of business to you or anyone else. please contact me and try to resolve this issue.
