instrument cluster?
 

anyone ever kept there insturment cluster black and painted the inner cirle part of each one silver and put in white face guages? I'm thinking of doing that but don't know how I would go about doing it? Any help would be great! thanks!

If you put in white faces, won't they cover up the silver part?

I hope not I just saw some bad ass miatas that come stock with white face guages and silver around the tach and speedo. now I just need to know how to do this!

You would need to get a white face kit, and a bezel. Both are readily available on Ebay. There is a write-up on how to remove the gauge cluster somewhere- just gotta search.

I have the indiglo white faces w/ a carbon bezel- fairly easy install.

I also painted the needles red so they would be seen against the white faces- like so:

I got a spare gauge set, and was thinking about duping mine and selling it- got some spare time and an itch to tinker. It looks sweet at night, too.

they look awesome...but whats going on with the trim around the temp gauge and fuel gauge

I think that's just light reflecting off the corners, lol

Right you are. The trim is a bit glossier than I would have liked. I would have prefered a more raw finish, but overall I like the look.
