Installing New Gauges questions

Since my cluster gauges dont work except for the gas level, i need a water temp and oil temp gauge, im most likely going to install automter ultralite gauges, i just wanted to know what are the locations to attach the sending units in the engine, also if anyone recommends other gauges, im not sure if you need an EGT gauge in the rx7's or not if the exhaust gets too hot also? please let me know

I think its a OIL PRESSURE not OIL TEMP. You should have the oil psi and water temp first, then, I would go with the boost/vac, fuel psi, egt, and oil temp.

both the water temp sending unit and oil pressure sender are on the spark plug side of the engine. the water temp is threaded into the block with 1 wire attached to it, the oil pressure unit is on a oil line out of the engine. pretty easy to find, just look above the spark plugs a bit. i would reccomend volt gauge, oil pressure, and water temp, if its turbo get a booost gauge

i just ordered a apexi mechanical boost gauge i had it on my last car i loved it and ordered another one of them. The previous owner had a turboXs boost controlelr installed i dont trust it very well i had one stick before so i jsut need to keep an eye on it till i ordred a electronic one. Also im going to mount 3 gauges under the radio which would be the most essential gauges to keep an eye on considereing my gauges on the cluster dont work. Also for oil pressure i should get an electric sender because i dotn feel like getting hot oil spilling into the car.
