injectors!! finally- found problem

i finally found out the problem with my 7 and im prety excited about it (lol) but im not sure im goign at this the right way cuz it doesnt seem to be resolving the problem. i took my broke, barley running car to some guy. supprisingly highway travel wasnt so bad with it. he looked at it for 10 minuts and told me to put injector cleaner , ngk sparkplugs for replacement of my unknowns.

so far it has done nothing but, it seems to run ok if i dont slow the car down by downshifting or letting off the gas when in gear. and when i let off the gas in gear it kinda bucks alot, and when i try to go it is all bogged down then it hits a sertain rpm and it goes from 25%power to a huge jerk of 100%power (not good for the engine mounts)the guy told me the injector was sataying open. is there a faster way of fixing this that doenst involveme taking it to a mechanic to have the injectors cleaned properly cuz i donno how to do it.

easy, take your throttle body off and then your uper intake manifold off and take your fuel rail off (4bolts) and send your injectors to www.cruzinperformance.com and have them do it for 12 bucks an injector. If the reason for them staying open is because of dirt and debris etc... then fuel injector cleaner won't work they will need to be done the right way. Now if they are stuck open because of electrical problems than this won't fix it.

Replace the fuel filter as well.

filter was replaced- it was the first thing i replaced when the problem started, is there any seals that i have to worry about if i take that stuff off?

Dude, if you don't consider the 5$/piece gaskets (3 of them) for the entire intake cheap you're a new level of cheapass. lol ;D no offense... that's just REALLY cheap.

Anyway, the gaskets are cheap and the internet isn't a spelling contest. ;P

I didn't start the spelling contest. I make my own gaskets because it saves time. Some of our gaskets you have to wait for. I have a roll of gasket material and I can make a gasket in about 15 minutes.
