Injector plug testing

My secondaries arent working- so i ripped it all apart tonight and was tesing the plugs themselves- one is ground(ecu controlled), and the other contanst 12v. I was using a test light and tested one, and nothing. Then the other, and it sparked! The light on the test light didnt come on, just sparks. Does anyone know what the cause of this is or can I not use a test light for this?

You need to buy a digital multimeter. They are cheap. As cheap as twenty five to thirty dollars.

One wire on the injector plug has 12vdc any time the key is to ON. The other won't be grounded until the ECU pulses a ground to it. The ECU won't do that unless the CAS is spinning.

Test lights suck.....
