Well, I got the car started but now it starts then dies after about 5 seconds. I guess I'll try swapping the tps. I noticed my plug for the afm has an exta wire thats not used so i checked my 87 and that wire doesn't exist any thoughts?

Jumper the yellow check connector near the AFM and see if she runs for more than 5 seconds. If she does, the AFM door switch may be bad. If she doesn't, the AFM could still be bad, but in this case it would be the door position inputs. What color is this "extra" wire you're talking about?

let me know if you get it fixed mike, i'd like to see it on the 20th - also, maybe you can assist me with my fuel problems if we can't figure it out on Thursday

Thanks for all the help, I went out yesterday, fired it up(with atf) and it runs fine now. Maybe there was still air in the fuel lines. Who knows it was sitting almost a year since the rebuild. Almost forgot the extra wire at the afm is black.(Guess it doesn't matter)
