Infini tail lights?

does anyone know where I can get these tail lights?

sEeMiNhThEdEmOn 11-04-03 01:38 AM

they aren't just s5 lights?

Black2na 11-04-03 01:39 AM

arnt those on the S5 FC's??? well at least mine look like that on my 89 GTU

neptuneRX 11-04-03 01:39 AM

no because they have the black surroundings around the lights

neptuneRX 11-04-03 01:40 AM

all the S5s I've see have red around the outside

neptuneRX 11-04-03 01:41 AM

I could be wrong, but I just want to make sure

You're wrong. They are identical, with black trim.

Edit: BTW, you promised us a part number for this revised, fail-proof S4 pulsation dampner last friday or monday. You told me directly I was wrong, and that what I had looked up personally and checked with Mazda Canada was wrong.
I am still waiting for the part number.

oh, did not know that, pick up something everyday eh?

There is no such thing as "Infini" taillights. All S5 taillights are the same.

Yes.
Now drop it, and slowly back away.

RotaryEvolution 11-04-03 02:18 AM

maybe those are just black covers that you buy at most parts stores?

search for it, I already posted about it. But just to give you and up date they did revise the part the in 1994. If you don't believe me fine, if you do, fine. I'm personally replacing mine because I don't want to see my car go up in flames like the one in VA this summer.

Also I was asking if the tail lights were the same, re-read the post.

Icemark 11-04-03 10:20 AM

The Infini lights are identical to any other US or Jspec S5 RX-7. There is no black surround around the lights, it is simply an optical illusion of the lights being on.

Here is a picture of a Infini IV during the day outside (unlike the picture neptuneRX posted).

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...postid=2103308

And neptuneRX you should have searched first as this has been covered before.

There is no black trim. Those are regular S5 tails. The car had probably been converted to a black and white image layer over the original colored layer, then the circles were cut from the black and white layer allowing the colored layer beneath to shine on through. Obviously more was done to give it a better shine but thats the basics.

Relisys190 11-04-03 12:34 PM

yup, their S5 lights
