infini:0-60MPH:5 sec? STOCK?

Hmm, I was told by someone else that the infini's did 0-60 in just over 5 seconds stock. Can someone back this up? I would love to believe them, just doesn't make any sense. Thanks.

Nope, infinis were only slightly better than a regualr old T2s. They had better suspension, weighed a little less due to some accessories removed, and had HP slightly bumped up.

I think the '89-91 TII's did 0-60 in around 6 seconds. They really didn't do much power-wise to the Infini's, mainly weight and suspension.

BTW, last time I checked (and when it was running :) my 10th was running 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds....:)

I think Car and Driver drove one.. and ive seen the article either here or somewhere on the net.. and it wasnt in the 5 second range.. like 6.2 or 6.1 quarter in the high 14's... thats what i remember

I've read as low as a 5.4 and 14.4 for 0-60 and 1/4 for a stock TII. Depends on where you look and how they "adjust" the data.

probably talking about FD infini.... the FC one is barly any diff then a stock T2.
