Indiglo Gauges!
I don't like the stock orange-on-black theme that I have now, considering it's an all white car.
Are there decent indiglo, or even just nicer aftermarket dash gauges for an 1988 Turbo II? URLs would be helpful. |
There are several people on here that make them. There is corksport.com if you want to bu aftermarket. I found some different ones at nopionline but some people say they may fade.

i had the nopi ......i live in fl .....they fade to pink!!!!
|
What about if you don't let the sunlight get to them? I would think the sun would if you have very dark tinted windows.
|
let me explain what happens to them !
they are made of 2 pieces the front part(face) which is silver kinda white with holes cutout so the backpart which red or whatever color you like is the numbers . the heat that generates in a car when its parked is very high and the back piece ink starts to go thru the front ,then you gauges start to look pink if the back piece was red ......i would imagine if the backpiece was blue it would fade to purpule . i hope you understand its not the direct sun lite but the heat inside your car that fades them |
check out ebay. I saw some for 86 to 88 rx-7's.

I seen some gauges on eBay also. I'm interested in getting some gauges also. When I turbo my 87' Base, I want to puy some R1 gauges which all change color. Which gauges are good and does everyone have problems with their gauges changing colors?

Hey Rex.... u got the ones that can change to 6 colors? Are they really good? I've heard some negative input from people on here about ebay gauges..... maybe these are a better quality...... Anybody have any thoughts?
