Import showoff pics!

I just came back from this thing. There was one Rx-7!! wohoo! it was dirty as hell tho :) It was the new bomex kit. That turboII had nice dirty red interior. I took pictures of the best cars out there.

Where was it at?? Pomona?

Juan 12-30-01 12:14 AM

It was at the pomona fairgrounds. Pretty crappy show. Full of body kits, neon paint jobs, neon lighting, the usual. I think I got pictures of the better cars out there :p

That show looked pretty good compared to the C.I.N. that was up here, at least you got see some old school stuff and some FC's, we basically saw Honda after Honda, with tuner wheels and a nose kit, we did have a couple of Fd's and a some supras, but mostly honda's with a few poser vw's stuck in for good measure..
At the shows here, we never really get any manafacture's displays either, mostly just retail displays, so consider yourself somewhat lucky..
That bomex it is pretty sweet, I don't care for the mirrors though, they don't suit the car, also the nose on the red fc doesn't look right for some reason, on the primer car its looks good, but on the red one it just doesn't seem to flow...LUV the sideskirts though....Max

Flobb 12-30-01 10:37 AM

I didn't like the nose on that kit before, and now I really don't like it. It looks like it's about to fall off. Which I wish it would, cause it doesn't flow.

R281 12-30-01 01:53 PM

I went to that show. The rx-7 looks better in that picture. It looks worse when you're looking at it up close. However, it still looked better than some of the "fixed-up" civics at the show.

R281 12-30-01 01:57 PM

I still think they should have painted the RX-7 before taking it to the show.

vaughnc 12-30-01 05:12 PM

You mean these kick @$$ mirrors :D :D

those mirrors look funny to me :P Id rather keep the stock ones or look for some better aftermarket ones

vaughnc 12-30-01 08:55 PM

Yep - there more style than substance. You can't see jack but they look nice :D

Sniper_X 12-31-01 09:07 AM

I never did understand those "corvette summer" mirrors.

Use the OEM mirrors LUKE!

YUCK!

Gefunk 12-31-01 12:02 PM
