Im new and need some help

Well i just bought 3 rx7's none of them run, well one does but i have to pull start it. I cant figure out why? the fuel pump is working and has spark. it just turns over hits a coulple times while turning over but never starts. i can roll start it and it runs good at idle (sometimes a little lumpy) and good in reverse but it runs like crap if all the foward gears. if just falls on its face. i woud appreciate the help. thanks.

how old is the gas?

get it compression tested first.

mgs2057 06-27-06 10:01 PM

compression read 95 in front rotor and 50 in back.

hmmm compression is fine up front, but you have too little in the rear, its rebuild time. or very close to it if you value the rear rotor and housing

When doing the compression test, hold the release valve down. This way you can see numbers from all 3 rotor faces. If you don't hold the release valve down, the gauge will only read the highest psi. So your 50 psi compression could possibly be 0-50-0.

50 on the rear is a blown motor
