Im an idiot......Memory/Wiring probs

Ok so, i went away for a week, came home, battery is dead, the driver side door was left slightly open and yeah, so, i took the battery out and put a different one in. I HAD alot of things to do today so i was franticly hooking this thing up and hooked it up backwards and the battery started to boil and the bellhousing to firewall ground fried like big time fried, it was smoking really bad. yeah, im a fucking idiot, i took that battery out with the quickness so it didnt blow up in my face and borrowed my roomates truck

SO i took my battery back to autozone and they gave me a new one (thank god for 3 year optima warrenties) i made a new wire for the bell-fire ground and it fired right up. now, everything works perfectly EXCEPT, the dome light, my door lights, my stereo, and my car has no memory(I.E the clock keeps resetting)

Everything else works in the lighting circuit, headlights, illumination for the dash, i also have my AFR guage hooked through my constant(yellow) wire for my stereo with a 5 amp fuse that DIDNT blow, none of the fuses blew underhood or kickpanel.

The car fires up perfectly, runs with no hesitations, but if you look at the clock on the idiot lights its slightly flashing, kinda weird

im really not sure what else i fried but maybe someone on here has an idea? some kind of reference from the GURU's would be greatly appreciated before i go tearing apart wires

THANKS!

sounds like the room fuse is blown... if it really is not blown, I suppose you could have melted the wires for it.

hmmm...i suspected this but wasnt sure what the hell the room fuse actually covered, it was more of a bitch to get to than the radio fuse and i figured if that hadnt blown then it was some type of wiring, thanks mark im gonna check that out now
