idle issue 88 t2 help please
ok so i havent started my car in about a moth and its been sitting i started it up today and it revved to 6 grand and stayed there for a good 20 secs and then plummeted sown to 1000 then started surging from 1200 to 2100 i have no clue whats wrong with it i have 3 tps sensors one new two used
the engine has 0 miles on it i got it rebuilt about a year ago and finally put it in it has a mild streetport and a stock ecu all new vaccume hoses and all emmisions blocked off with new injectors/o-rings has stock turbo and stock piping ive tryed propane and carb cleaner checked for leaks and found none i dont kno whats wrong with it any advice ??? |
I dropped a used TII motor into a shell I had and the idle kept bouncing around 1500. In my case it was a fubar'd cruise control cable holding the throttle body open.
Is there some slack in the cable where it attaches to the throttle body? |

I'm not sure, but with a ported motor wouldn't you need some type of fuel controller?
