idle issue 88 t2 help please
 
ok so i havent started my car in about a moth and its been sitting i started it up today and it revved to 6 grand and stayed there for a good 20 secs and then plummeted sown to 1000 then started surging from 1200 to 2100 i have no clue whats wrong with it i have 3 tps sensors one new two used


the engine has 0 miles on it i got it rebuilt about a year ago and finally put it in it has a mild streetport and a stock ecu all new vaccume hoses and all emmisions blocked off with new injectors/o-rings has stock turbo and stock piping

ive tryed propane and carb cleaner checked for leaks and found none

i dont kno whats wrong with it any advice ???

I dropped a used TII motor into a shell I had and the idle kept bouncing around 1500. In my case it was a fubar'd cruise control cable holding the throttle body open.

Is there some slack in the cable where it attaches to the throttle body?

Mine is doing the exact same thing, did you find a solution?

I'm not sure, but with a ported motor wouldn't you need some type of fuel controller?
