Idle adjust on 88 TII

Looking at the Haynes manual, it states that on a turbo model the idle is adjusted with the screw on the BAC valve. I've turned the screw a half dozen turns in each direction, but the idle speed doesn't change. Is this the right place to do this?

So, what would you do to adjust your Idle If you had a block-off plate on the former BAC Valve and your running an EMS.

You can adjust the idle on the TB, the throttle stop. Just look for a spring loaded bolt on the firewall side..

first warm up the car, jump the initial set connector wire a piece of wire (2 female spades green connecter on pass. side in the front), then turn the BAC screw to adjust idle

This bac screw, does it requier an allen wrench? And on what side is it... I have tried to turn the one on the bumper side and it wouldn't budge...

Its on the passenger side off the throttle body. It doesn't require an allen wrench, it should just use a regular flat head

My bac does not have that.. I am 100% positive. I have heard some have it some don't..
