IC sprayer... what temp is normal? when to spray?

car and mods in sig.

ok i have searched ebay, summit, and jegs and have come up with crap....

I need a gauge with probe to measure the temp of the stock IC and/or a temp activated switch that is adjustable.

At what temp is your stock IC "heat soaked"?

I guess i could rock just a switch for it and spray it... using my logic and EGT at a way to tell.

Id like to make it fool proof tho.

This is the best IC sprayer controller you'll find. It's ~US$150 and monitors ambient temp, IC core temp and even how hard you're driving. The articles explain how to make a proper sprayer too (not garden sparayers!)

If you don't want to pay that much, you can activate the sprayer from a temp switch on the IC core (NOT intake temp). This will prevent or reduce heat-soak. I posted some info in your intake temp thread as well. ;)
