i really really really need your help on this guys

well previously the status of my 7 was good, the only problem i had was it didn't like to idle after i accelerated hard. but i would just hit the throttle a little bit and afte a few seconds it'd hold idle (1100 rpm, becaues its a ported motor, and the motor shakes less at that rpm)

well tonight i ran a WRX a few times, very hard driven.
the only thing i heard "not right" was a loud sound of like an object hitting something, maybe have been soemething i hit on the road or also kinda sounded like something in my trunk , didn't sound like an apex seal flying out my exhaust tho, i can assure that it was more of a thunk.

and then it didn't want to hold idle sometimes it would hold it for a little and then it would scoop back down into the 700's and sputter. i went home idle didn't seem to be a problem but when i got home and sat in my car while i watched the 3 mins of my turbo timer go down, it didn't want to idle right sometimes again holding it but sometimes just sputtering until i hit the throttle. then i let it turn off, and turned it back on and it seems to hold idle fine now.

i dunnno what this could be do you guys have any ideas?

thanks for your help guys:(

check the whole intake line from AFM to throttle body. it's possible a hose or something blew off the compressor outlet. Happened to me once when I forgot to tighten the screw clamp. The rubber hose between the turbo and aluminum pipe above it came off the turbo under full boost but then sat back down on top of it enough to hold a sputtering idle. This doesn't quite sound like your problem but weird things can happen. Just go over the engine bay and double check all hoses are intact.

i doubt i popeed a seal, it has a rebuild 5k miles ago. and it idles fine except sometimes it doesn't like to idle.

You can blow a seal with any amount of miles if you detonate, but yeah your idle probably would be fukt all the time although when my old seals were going out it ran like crap then ran good ran worse then ran fine then they were toast
