Have you checked for vacuum leaks and checked the BAC valve?

SonicRaT 05-08-02 02:17 AM

Check for vacuum leaks as unique had said, also check and make sure your TPS is adjusted properly, you may also want to check your motor mounts, maybe it's jarring your engine around too violently. Also, might want to check timing and the usual other suspects

Oh yeah, the TPS. :) I mention that in just about all of my posts it seems. My new TPS was the best mod I ever put on my car. (top speed was 15 with the dead one)

could a vac. leak also make my thermostat temp fluctuate??? cause it started doing it on hot days i am loosing coolent somewhere. its is hard to find a vac leak in that car damn i looked anyone wanna come help me. lol thanks for the help unique

Simple, get a can of starting fluid and start spraying around all your seal/intake/etc, if the idle increases where you spray, that means theres a vacuum leak in that direction, or if it's a push leak instead of a pull, you should be able to see it blow the mist away. Also check that your BAC isn't messed, that has to do with idle as well, and perhaps your nuetral switch is messed up (causes the car to idle less 200rpm I believe) Some things to check, not sure which it may be, but give it a shot. Is your TPS functional?

i believe so it just started doing it like 4 days ago
