Let the fun begin! It will take about 4 hrs to do and cost around $25. Just be patient and make sure you have someone with you who knows a thing or two about electronics. http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/rewire.htm

do you have to drop the tank to get the pump out?

Your pump is under your hatch carpet. Lift up the carpet, remove the thick foam linning. On the drivers side you will see a panel. Wires going through it. Remove the 4 screws and you will see where you pump goes into the tank. Careful with the lines, there pretty old and don't spill fuel inside or your car cause it will stink for a long time.
