I have a tranny outside...
OK I left a good tranny outside and its getting all wet, does it go bad because of the water?

It's really not good to get water inside of a transmission (or on a clutch assembly). In what position did you leave it? |
its like if it was on the car, but its cover with a plastic bag, im in NC, getting hit by the huracane.

Cover up the input shaft area, output shaft and shifter box. It should be fine after that.

if you cover all the holes on it, you should be fine.

i would imagine cover the shifter setup as well as the input and output shaft areas. why dont u just wrap it in a tarp?
